On a beautiful, sunny October day the rustle of leaves, billowy clouds and mountains with untold stories begged to be painted. So I did quick sketches, photos and headed back from the farm to my studio to create this warm piece of art. I used water mixable oils and several layers to create the atmosphere and color and chose an ornate frame to complete the rich fall feeling.
