"Art has been a part of my life since childhood. I loved watching my Dad draw figures and I studied nature to teach myself to paint in my style of realism with a softened impressionistic feel. I study the old masters and learn from contemporary artists to grow and develop my body of work. Art enriches my days and gives me the opportunity to express in my own way, the beauty of life and God's blessings. Whether in my studio or en plein air in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of East Tennessee , I always create "Paintings from the Heart ." ~Temple
