HAPPENING NOW...Help Laurel Creek Trail
I love nature and the beauty in our county. Laurel Creek Trail is one of my favorite places. I noticed the volunteers and Board needed some help with upkeep and found that I could use my art to help. I am so proud to be part of Preserving a Picturesque America, a 501c3 that works to preserve natural and historic places through the power of the arts. They have chapters in Colorado, Georgia, Maine, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and our own Tennessee! Their gallery is Saluda Studios in NC. They are showcasing my art and giving everyone the opportunity to help the Laurel Creek Trail. You can purchase one of my paintings until they are all sold (3 remain as of Jan 30) or just make a donation. It's a blessing to be able to help just a little. The link below will get you started!!!
""Temple supports other artists and the Arts and serves our community in countless ways. She leads our Sunshine and Smiles Program (teaching and providing art supplies) for children. Temple has been part of bringing to life numerous murals in Mountain City including her solo piece, "The Lopsided 3" train that once ran in Johnson County. The many organizations in which she has played an important role in developing and leading are indicative of her love and commitment to God, family and community. Her role as Assistant Director is immeasurable . " ~Johnson County Center for the Arts 2022
