My studio is not open to the public so I wanted you to have a glimpse of the place where I create paintings from my heart, study, read, pray, get inspired, entertain grand kids, plan and organize projects for children in Sunshine and Smiles, work on community projects and counseling and grow as an artist and person. The studio is a loft above our garage with no running water or bathroom but close to the house. It is set in the woods with enough inspiration to last a lifetime. You may see a deer, bird, squirrel, raccoon, skunk or bear on any given day. The lush ferns, old stumps and years old fallen trees are beautiful to this artist. The woods invite walks in nature and the beauty in our mountain home of East Tennessee continues to fill my soul with endless artistic possibilities. I start many paintings in plein air and finish them here in my studio. I am so happy to get to spend a good part of my day creating art here and every day, wherever I may be; I'm an artist at heart enjoying God's beauty. For many years, I worked in a small extra bedroom with a pretty view and was blessed to have the space. A lot of work was created there. I am now very blessed to have a space where I can leave paintings out, have the palette ready any time I want to paint and such an inspiring and cozy place to work and play. I love studying, enjoying and promoting other artists' work in my studio. It inspires me! I hope you have a place to create art, enjoy and grow. Whether it's a studio, extra room, little corner or even a storage cabinet; having an inspirational, organized area dedicated to your art makes such a difference. Thanks for taking the time to "visit my studio". My work is available at the Center for the Arts in Johnson County as it is my desire to support the Art Center as Assistant Director and patron with any commissions earned from my work. You may contact me to inquire about any of my works and I will be very happy to help you.
