- New Spring Grass
On an early spring day while fixing fences at our farm, my artist's eye stopped my work to take in the sight at the top of the hill. Three Moma cows were feeding their babies underneath a breathtaking sky. They appeared as silhouettes on the hilltop. I took a quick photo with my trusty cell phone and tried as best I could to capture the colors, values and feelings of the moment until I could get back to my studio to get it on canvas. It was a special day as a farmer and as an artist. The painting is 18 x 24 in a dark antiqued wooden framed with gold accents. It ships free in the USA. Only one is available.
