Days on the farm are filled with work but lots of beautiful moments. I was able to capture this scene in plein air, work on it in my studio and finish it later. The billowy clouds were beautiful and so very peaceful after a day's work. It is 16 x 20 in oils on panel with a gold frame. Painted from 2024-2026 in many layers. The first photo is the plein air painting. Subsequent work adds silver leaf to adorn the roof tops and glazing on layers of fluffy clouds. It was finished at the Martin House Gallery's Blowing Rock Women's Art Show as in photo.
