This painting was done in my studio from photos and memories of warm summer days at the farm. Tennessee Blue Flowers (Chicory) fill the landscape and roadsides with dreamlike hues. Black cows in the midst add to the romantic feel. The cows don't eat the Chicory which allows the flowers to grow and flourish in the fields. The soft fluffy clouds, blue summer mountains and the warmth of grasses invite you to sit and take in the sunshine. The painting in oils is 24 x 18 plus the ornate gold frame.
